Default Voided badges

Hello! I was warned about non voided Rifles badges, and I would like to know if to be voided is a general signal of autenthicity or just a signal of a better copy than non voided...I put these two to study for learning about that fact...thank you!

You cannot apply Voided v Non-voided rule to detect fakes as a generalisation.

It only applies to some specific badges. You have to take it on an individual badges basis.
Hope you can understand what I mean.

regards

So voided or non-voided only is a signal of fake in some specific badges...just like the fact of be slidered or lugged...right? Depending the badge in question...is that?

So the badges I show can be perfectly fakes even being voided...what do you think about both?

Robbin Hoods I would avoid due to slider, letter font and 1902 date- date is usually of a different size with 2 up against cross edge. Regards, Paul. PS sliders on both badges have similarities. Robin Hoods similar to one shown often has a fake Gaunt slider.

Link from the past when I was looking for an early example-then I just had a bad example with Gaunt Birmingham marked slider which is a 1970s mark.

Beds and Herts out of period for me so I have never had one, but I note shape and colour of slider is similar to the Robin Hoods which I believe to be fake. Regards, Paul.

Yes...both came together, so if one is fake probably the other too!
