Duke of Wellington's Regiment "Brigade Pattern" Collar Badges in GILT ?????
A faced, matched pair of Duke of Wellington's Regiment collar badges from the "Brigade" era - worn circa 1958 until 1970 ish - but why in GILT ??? I've never seen them in anything other than silvered or silver coloured anodised . Assuming due to the gilding that these are officers quality ?
Once positively identified, they will be offered for sale. TIA Paul |

Paul can't comment on the above but the Gloucestershire regiment[officers] wore gilt collar when in the brigade system

That’s helpful, it’s nice to know that they are noted in Churchill. Regards Paul |

I had a set given to me when I was in Bulford in mid 80s - the DW were over the road.
