Scots Guards Badge Query - British & Commonwealth Military Badge Forum

Can anyone identify this, which appears to be Scots Guards. It looks too small for a cap badge and too large for a 'pip'.

I think that is the badge worn by Sergeants on their shoulder straps. Lower ranks have an embroidered star.

Its part of the shoulder title, also the thistle was used.
