Default Staff Gorget with clip

I bought this at Malvern last Sunday, its got a lovely clip on the reverse I had never seen before, presumably for a tropical uniform or shirt collar?

Generally they come in three lengths:

Short - for shirt collars
Medium - for Service Dress jacket lapels
Long - for No1 Dress and Frock Coat collars

Clip on types are for shirt collar and tropical uniform

Hi Rob

Interesting to see another ‘clip on’ gorget patch, here is a small size I have, I believe it to have been worn on the bush jacket collar of the Commander of the Ras al-Khaimah Police. It measures 55 x 30mm, and the button is 16.5mm in diameter.

All the best

Graham
