I assume that is more of a letter head, like the one of the 1st on the cigarette card.

And remind that in the Indian Army headdress badges were much less used then in the British Army. Specially by OR's. Shoulder titles were in general use though.

This is my 3rd R. Bombay S&M badge, relatively large at nearly two inches wide.
