I am assuming that its the Police Cadet equivalent of the Lord Lieutenant's Cadet badge awarded to that cadet for the year in post.

Nice badge, i believe it is 'a' High Sheriff's device so could be anywhere, most counties (England & Wales). Most i think have a Lord Lieutenants cadet, but the High Sheriff is a bit more rare. Just to add to the mix. Regards Mark

The cap badge is the Royal Yeomanry's but the sleeve badge would not be provided by the regiment but by the Sheriff's office.
The collars are for the Worcestershire and Warwickshire Squadron. Likewise the Lord Lieutenant Cadet badges are provided by the regional Reserve Force and Cadets Associations (RFCA) who arrange the selection of the cadets on the Lord Lieutenancy's behalf. They come in one colour backing no matter what service is earing them. They are not from MOD suppliers but bought privately. |
