Default AFC wings

Hi
so what are your thoughts on this item ? was glued to a board so that is the white substance showing. Just sold on Ebay for $605 aust which is very cheap if it's ok.

they look wrong to me...they certainly are not shouting out originality. As you are aware though some were produced post WW1 for war vets .....may be worth checking with julian Tennant to confirm 100%, as he has more knowledge than i on AFC wings

I have to agree they look completely bogus. The style, tread and manufacture remind me of not altogether dissimilar patterns that were floating around a number of years ago. Pretty hard to get hold of though, which was quite surprising for a nice set of repro’s.

I compared the set to known originals and decided to stay well away from this set.

for your reference .My dad has a number of wings and they look better made than this and we had a father / son debate about there originality so i guess he was right again !!
