Just as an interesting side note on Peter"s post, i participated in a Tattoo in Victoria in 2013. The week prior to the Tattoo we were put up at the Naval base in Esquimalt and while on base we had to wear our high brown boots, breches, unifrom shirt and stetson. We ate in the mess and had to put outr stetson in the claok room prior to eating. Upon returning to get our stetson to depart, one of the members stetson had developed legs and was no where to be found. Needless to say we had to scramble to get him another one for our performance as we are only issued one, unlike the forge cap.
