The OSD badge in post #1 is fake.
Note the die flaw below the D of Dein as seen to differing degrees on a whole range of POW plume fakes from Welsh V.B.‘s, 3rd Glam RV, Pemb Yeos, Denbigh Hussars OSDs, 10H, 12th Lancers, Welsh Regt etc. The jewel pattern and alignment also matches these fakes. Only found this old thread searching for a Flint & Denbigh Yeo following one at Bosley’s earlier today.
Realise it’s 7 years late but thought it best to resurrect in case another member bought a similar badge believing it was real after reading this. ... I realise it’s ironically close to April Fools now, albeit my post was serious.
