Default RAAF Jewish Chaplains collar badges

RAAF Jewish Chaplains collar badges - quite a rare badge!

Rather brilliant!

At least the RAAF have a use for them now - they appointed their first Jewish Chaplain earlier this year!

I have found that odd that the RAAF would create and produce (or have produced) a collar badge for Jewish Chaplains despite the fact that they had up until about two months ago, never employed anyone in that trade.

Red face

That question needs to be directed to DMO.

Some YEARS ago I had confirmation that were 52 pairs in the RAAF stores system.

At this stage I can say I know 4 pairs live in 3 collections that I have personnel knowledge.
