HI

Now, the Armour School Badge is worn on the breast above the nametag of the DEU tunic. It's an Armoured Branch collar dog. Likely a cost saving measure. Haha!! Believe it or not, I've heard rumblings of a School badge a la CAFVTC may be on some minds. Veddy interes-stink.

regards
Darrell

Bill, I remember seeing the photo you mention here but I cannot find it. I have recently picked one up and I would like to get more information on the badge.

Cheers,
John

What are the "Centennial patches"? Do you have a photo? Dates of use?

Hello John, I can't find those images either. There doesn't seem to be much documentation on those badges.
Michael, Images of the centennial patches for the Fus MR and the R WPG R. The Fus MR patch is self explanatory, the R Wpg R title was made for their 1983 centennial.

Thanks for those. Interesting that DND is now issuing commemorative "pins" Forces-wide. I just got my 1812 pin and remember being required to wear the "Year of the Veteran" pin on my DEU.

I sat on the regimental centennial committee two years ago, and I don't recall discussing the wear of a commemorative device on our uniform. We did design and sell a commemorative pin that was quite attractive, for civilian use. I wonder if DHH considers precedent to have been set...
