I emailed Chris Brooker about the Charlton books and he replied, indicating the textual material has been completed a couple of years ago. Chris sent the material in, but does not know the status of the catalogues.

Thanks for the link. Having a qick comparison check, I see that I have quite a few that aren't listed and a few variants. I must try and get hold of one of these books. Thanks for that.

John, Your best bet for an inexpensive and fairly comprehensive reference, though not detailed is the Babin book that Ian recommended. It is handy to take to shows, and can act as a check list if you don't mind marking it up. (Some collectors make a photo copy and use the copy as a checklist. And Babin's appears to be out of copyright.)

Thank you very much and welcome aboard the forum! You can imagine the look of amazement on my face when that old tin of badges was opened up all those years ago. I can imagine it would be quite a daunting task to put a collection like that together in this day and age.
Looks like you've got some interesting stuff yourself - possibly the most highly polished RA and RTR I've ever seen!
