Default Ayrshire Yeomanry, Officers or S/NCO's, unusual

Hello all
I'd be interested please on people's thoughts on the attached badge.
I have been offered this badge, on first look I thought 'bingo' it's one of the bi metal Gaunt makers mark on slider badges I'm after, then I spotted the 'S', for silver plated, obviously the lions head.
This is most unusual, the rest appears to be gilding metal, not gilt, which you'd expect for an Officers badge, and also it's on a slider, I've seen a bi metal, as in WM and GM badge' with the same slider.
Hope someone can help to ID if this is an Officers pattern or S/NCO's please.
Many thanks for your time.
Chris

There was this badge sold awhile ago. Not the same construction or markings. I can't say anything further as I don't know.

Thank you chaps.
CB, yes, this is the badge I was referring to in my OP.
Thank you for putting up the link.
I'm pretty sure the die used for the Officers sil/gilt badges is used for the early bi metal badges, perhaps this is just an error, as the 'P' is on the die?

The P is generally accepted as the silver pieces on the badge are silver plated. 'S' would be sterling.
Cheers,
Alex

Would it be possible to have a general consensus please.
So what do people think

Officers badge?
Or Other ranks badge?

I'll draw my conclusion from what people think.
Your time and help are appreciated.

I believe OR badges were not Bi metal as this is, so SNCO or officer.

I think I'm going to resign to the fact that it's an Officers badge with a slider, and decline the offer.
Thank you to the three members that contributed to the thread.
