Default 103 Lancashire Artillery Volunteers Pipers kilt pin

Very pleased to have acquired an example of this silver kilt pin, a private commission for the Pipers of 103 Lancashire Artillery Volunteers.

The incorporation of the shamrocks etc reflects the Pipes and Drums origins in The Liverpool Irish Pipes and Drums.

Very grateful to S.M. In helping me get this example.

P.

Hi Peter Eric Fawcett here (sill alive don't know about kicking LOL) i see the band has changed their kilt to the Lindsay Tartan we started out with Crawford Tartan of which Crawford paid for as we were not recognised by war office till 1971 when we appeared on the Royal Artillery at home Tattoo woolwich lindsey is part of the crawford clans i like the kilt pin too Cheers Eric
