Some sad news. Just saw this on Rod's site.

Season's Greetings & Site Update
As of the end of December I will be retiring from the business due to ill health, I have been diagnosed with terminal cancer. My son Jim and daughter Julie will be taking over the business. My son-in-law Rich will work with Jim, he has been the engine room of my site for many years. The site will be in good hands. I would like to thank you all for your support over the years and wish you all a good Christmas and New Year.
Rod

Very sad news.
Rod helped me out a few times in my early days of collecting when I was a kid.
Last saw him when he visited my place just before I emigrated in 2003.

Thoughts too for all of the members of his family dealing with the news particularly at this special time of the year. I am sure they will surround him with support and love that he needs. I had the pleasure of dealing with him at one of the Militaria Fairs.A lovely man.

He will be missed. I’ve been buying off him for what seems like forever.
