Default 3 Sqn RAF Regt Chef Patch

I got this one yesterday from an ex RAF Regt gunner on 3 Sqn. He said a handful of these were made for chefs attached to the Sqn to wear on their whites when they worked in the Airman's Mess around 2006ish.

Never seen one like this before.

It's the smaller sized patch 50x50mm

Regards, Bill

I had a few at one time, along with a couple of the other RAF Regiment Squadrons, got them with a load of other RAF Reg stuff when we cleared out Lancashire Embroidery a few years back. First time i’ve heard the chef story though.

I believe a mutual friend of ours from Swindon had most of them off me in the end.
