Default MEDAL ENTITLEMENT

Just a couple of questions regarding medals ( hope this is ok moderators many thanks . )

A few points that came out at our local swap meet last tues ( held in the back room of Wetherspoons ...)

A, if a soldier died in the Gretna green train crash 1915 , 7th R.S ? What was his medal entitlement please ? just a plaque ???

B, SAME QUESTION ,regarding a british soldier killed during the Easter Rising but not previously served overseas ??

Sorry if these are bone questions but they caused a lot of debate ............where are you Mr Laycock please ???
