Default Lanc. Fusiliers pouch badge

Hi All,

is this a pouch badge ? Measures 39mm high by 31mm wide. Sterling silver and maker stamp ' B.N.'. Also, can anyone identify the maker ? I have looked on internet but no luck..

Cheers in advance, Mark

Mark,

I have seen similar shaped and sized badges to the LF's in the past but in brass/gilding metal and I didnt know what they were.

The LF's shouldnt have been wearing Pouch Belts, certainly on a Kings Crown or in silver/white metal.

My thought is its off a trophy or plaque onto which its screwed.

regards

I saw the same on a website.
The motto etc is correct for the Lancs Fusiliers.
B.N is a Birmingham mark but theres no note of maker. Dates seen 1923 and 1939 on a medal and spoon.

Many thanks for replies. Not too concerned if it isn't a pouch badge as price paid was about the same as a good sweetheart badge.would be nice to know what it is. Have viewed the lancashire Fusiliers Locker site and there are a few similar items, but are watch chain fobs which my item certainly isn't..

Cheers, Mark
