Default Military Records

Hi All,

This is a photo of my Uncle with his military medals that I inherited from my aunt, in a box I also found a photo album with the South African Artillery badge on the front and in that I found the second photo, which I think might have been my uncles Father. As this was the start of my military collection I thought I needed to find out more about my uncles service during the war, as I know I did not serve abroad. I have tried sending a mail to sandfdoc@mweb.co.za, but it keeps being returned. For someone who is not any where near Pretoria, is there a cost effective way to retrieve individuals military records, as I have subsequently got medals from other soldiers and would love to get some back ground on who they were.

Thanks and regards
Jacques
