Unknown Maker Mark
Hi,
Does anyone recognize or know anything about the maker on this PAF pilot's wing? Is the letter F in a triangle the maker mark of FILSKI of London? Thanking you all in advance and hoping to hear from some of you very soon. Regards, juno-44 |

Hi Rafal,
Do you have any info on Filski, I can not find any info on the net beside a pair of PAF pilot wing which sold in Poland. Regards, Michel |

A relatively scarce badge, Filski was actually based in London during the war, I don't think that I have ever seen one of those with a brass "nut" they were normally silver and superbly marked.

In fact, now I think about it, I'm not sure that I have ever seen one of those with a brass chain either!

This is what you would expect with their actual wartime London made examples, a very high quality silver "nut" and silver chain with a razor sharp steel hook.
