Halifax Rifles QC badge
Hello Jo,
Quote:
The badge in question is part of a large lot that was rescued from being scrapped in 1968 or 1969 from the Coburg, ON supply depot and included QC badges to The Halifax Rifles and Victoria Rifles among others. I personally saw the entire hoard while it was being offered to a Toronto dealer. So, yes it is for real, and I have no reason to believe it is not genuine. Wyn |

Halifax Rifles from the maker.
Hello all. Just had an email from, what I suppose, is the "official" supplier of the new Halifax Rifles badges and collars, namely Carat-Medailles Inc. You can buy the badge and the collars but in quantities of more than one at the time.
Prices are qty:6 prs of collar = $9,50 pr + tx, and qty:6 of Head-Dress= $17,75 + tx. mailto:contact@carat-medailles.com c/o;Robert Girardin (don't worry he's an english-speaker) Carat-Medailles Inc. 250-G Boul. Ford Chateauguay,Qc. J6J 4Z2 Just make sure to specify Halifax Rifles "Queen's Crown".I have not seen nor handled their products so, thread carefully.I take no responsiblities if the badges are not to YOUR standards. Jo

If it's more than 1 at a time, maybe we could do a combined group buy?

Well Bill, the market is open for anyone in Canada to buy the badges and collars and then put them on the market, if that someone has the incentive of a small(or big) profit to do it.
