Cloth RTR patch
I was told by the person I acquired this from, that it is an Army Cadet Force beret badge worn by RTR units of the ACF. Can anyone confirm this for me, please? If it is ACF, and anyone also knows which Counties have RTR Detachments known to wear it, that would also be useful.

Can’t rule out ACF use but Royal Tank Regiment - Beret badge worn by 3 RTR on Op Banner NI tour in 1990 - 91 (source RHQ RTR in 2017)

Hi Tim, Many thanks for that info. I would rather it be regular RTR that ACF, so I shall now put it in with my other RTR cloth cap badges, labelled as per your info.
Thanks for the prompt reply. Fred |
