Default Fake SAS wings?

Hi folks

These came off an old board purporting to be Greek SAS wings, I'm assuming they are fake.......but just to make sure can I have the views of the experts.
Cheers

Default 'Greek Wing'

Friends,

That wing is a fake, thank Goodness, for it is ugly as sin with that watermelon canopy! Copied from a very rare locally made wing. Normally, the Greek Sacred Squadron would wear regular British SAS wings.

Remember, old fakes (some are going back 40+ years) are todays classics! So, know your fakes!

Cheers,

Johan

Default Wings

hi JB,

Great items indeed! You can see how different they are from the wing at the top of this thread!

Cheers,

Johan

Are we saying the wings at the top of this thread are fake ? Or a makers variation ?

Default Fake

hi Andy,

Indeed, a fake! There are a great many variations of SAS wings, but that one is no good.

Cheers,

Johan
