Default Help with identification and military service

Here are a set of photos of a friend's Grandfather. Family information is sparse but his name was Wallace HALL born circa 1877. He was in the Regular Army (possibly Royal Artillery) at the end of the nineteenth century and served in Egypt and in South Africa (Boer War) after which he was medically discharged. He then served in the Territorial Force (20th London Regiment) prior to and possibly during WW1. He died in about 1916 from 'pneumonia' picked up while on guard duties and stationed in the UK.

I would be very grateful for assessments that Forum Members can make from the pictures and any additional information available from on-line resources.

Photo 1 - Alexandria Egypt
Photo 2 - Cairo Egypt
Photo 3 - Postcard 20th LONDONS - Wallace HALL seated front row left? Sent to his wife Sue HALL at 190 Albert Road, Peckham, London. Not sure on date.

Many thanks
Tim
