Default Norfolk Yeomanry OSD

I picked this up on Sunday, but in the light of day I am not so sure...

The first concearn is the poor cutting out on the right hand side of the crown and the blades being different colours. It just seems to lack the quality that I would expect.

Any opinions would be most welcome

The badge is 55mm by 42mm approx.

kind regards,

Andy

Cheers Malc

It looks like someone has been a bit over enthusiastic trying to cut out the crown on my example. I will keep it until a better example or evidence to the contrary comes along.

Kind regards,

Andy

Thanks for your input Andrew

That is quite a pile of cyphers you have there, although I suspect some are not Norfolk Yeomanry.

The concern that I have with the badge in my original post, is that it has been played around with. The poor workmanship on the crown and the blades being different in colour.

Please excuse my ignorance, but why would a National Reserve attached to the Norfolk REGIMENT be wearing Yeomanry badges?

Regards,

Andy

Hi Andy, there not NFK Yeo Cyphers, they are the ones issued to the National Reserve, and in this case attached to the Norfolk Regiment, A bit like, today if you are in the RAMC unit here in Norwich, you wear the badge of THE ROYAL ANGLIAN.
All the best Andrew
