ACC mess kit collar badge query

Hi folks

I've just received a lovely quality ACC Mess Kit, badged to a WO1 but missing it's collar badges.

On the basis that WO1's dress as officers, what collar badges would have been worn? Wire embroidered or silver on gilt?

There are holes were there have been collar badges but the labels also show that the mess kit was ordered when the wearer was a sergeant so the collar badges would have been anodised, it may well be that he didn't bother changing them on promotion.

But what do you advise I put in their place?
