Durham Militia pouch - clean or repair ?
Hi All,
just purchased this Durham Milita Officers pouch. As you can see, the braiding around the front of the pouch is quite grubby. Would anyone suggest light clean maybe with warm soapy water or leave alone ? Also, rear black felt damaged probably by moths. Is it worth repairing or again, just leave alone ? Thanks for looking, Mark |

Do not use any liquid on the pouch, it will degrade it.
Best left alone, just lightly brushed, soft toothbrush to remove dust and moth poop. regards

Pouch
many thanks for advice, think I will leave well alone. pouch looks a lot better in the hand than it did on ebay ! Got it for a fair price. A dealer at Bowburn fair has had one for sale for a long time at around £350, but his is in better condition. I was going to bid on the other one on ebay - the Volunteer Artillery which had its cross belt, but condition didn't look good..
