Still looking for examples of these COTC contingents.

Sir George Williams College (maybe Sir George Williams University?)

Have you checked in with Marway? Perusing their facebook page the other night I noted they had about two dozen COTC titles posted.

Hi Richard, Yes I have been through the Marway material. I picked up the St Francis from them, but the Sir George Williams is an elusive item. And, I am not sure if their title is University or College.

Hi Jo, Thanks for the link, but not really. The COTC titles were standard oyster embroidery on maroon. The question revolves around the designation. Were the Sir George Williams titles issued when the contingent was a college? There is documentation approving a university title. But any title for the contingent are hard to find. (If the university pattern was made; the university pattern was approved shortly before the COTC was disbanded.)

Update. A Sir George Williams College title exists. It is still a question if the Sir George Williams University title was issued.

Canadian Army Catalogue of Ordnance Stores (1961) has the flash for Sir George Williams College - 8455-21-103-3330. I know that pre-dates the dissolution of the COTC by a few years. It is the latest reference that I have.

Thanks Phil, I have acquired that pattern. Question remains, did they get a new title when designated a University?

Default Sir George Williams College

Finally acquired a Sir George Williams College COTC title. I think I may have completed the series. But, I am not sure if the Sir George Williams University COTC title was made?
