Default West Yorkshire regiment

First post here, because I've only just picked up my first badge! Bit of a spur of the moment purchase on eBay and was just wondering if it's likely to be real or not? I checked out the Kipling & King book in the local library and the description appears to match up, just wanting some opinions really!

Thanks

James

Default Welcome

It looks like you have found a good badge from what I can see on the pic. Welcome to the beginnings of what can be a very absorbing addictive interest.

Defo very original,

I almost bid on it myself on ebay as a west Yorks collector for the well used look.

Now please don't go and spoil something like this by trying to straighten the slider, or even worse have it replaced.

Good luck with your collecting and kind regards,

Cheers,
