Default Badge

Thanks Jerry for all your help. I am interested in the cut down Welsh badge you mentioned before. You don't think this was anything to do with territorial soldiers?

I try to help if I can, but the p of w feathers badges were used by many units.

the subject of the cutdown welsh badges have been raised before on here but I don't know if an answer was ever found. there is at least one thread on the subject https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...ight=lambourne

I find it hard to believe that these badges were actually made this way. It is heraldically totally incorrect, and I remain in doubt that these were actually worn this way by any military unit. But of course I could be completely wrong!

A nice early milk chocolate colored OSD collar badge. As mentioned, several regiments would have worn this.

The one I showed is a modified welsh regiment badge, others have been shown in rhe forum previously and phil86 showed one in another thread and he asked here about them.
