David S. Gross RASC information sought

Hi Guys,
I am putting together a eulogy for an old friend.
I know he joined the RASC as an OR (After RAF training) and was sent out to India to form part of 2 Inf Div.
He was then sent to Sikoku Island as part of the BCOF in Japan.

I know he was stationed there over Christmas 1946 as i have a Christmas card that he sent home received Dec 22nd 1946.

I am after any information on his service number etc during his RASC service please.

I know he was a Corporal when serving in India/Japan as i have a photo of him wearing his BD.

Any information available is appreciated.
