That this individual is actually a member, certainly is, in itself, very disappointing indeed.

They must be becoming more available. I bought this one on ebay recently and, from the label, it was only made in January this year. They are also listed on the Wydean Weaving website but are currently out of stock, which is why I was forced to buy this one at an inflated price.

These things are really 'taking off' - nice to see another correct one found a good home.

However
I hope any fake is marked as such on the back - as discussed on the forum numerous times. If not it could be very misleading in the future and a questionable practice.

Mike

Is Royal Air Forse the new politically correct spelling for the RAF or just a spelling error?

Is it the sort of thing you must expect when you contract out to Chinese/Pakistani/insert nationality of your choice workshops?
At least it wasn't a "Farce"

As the copies are not normally marked these may indeed cause a problem in future. For reference I am attaching a pic of both for comparison.

Thanks for sharing that image Dave,

The difference are quite clear when shown side by side.

It's an interesting area to collect too but sadly disturbing that the fakes are out almost as soon as the real thing.

Cheerio,

Roy

The RPAS(P) badge is now obsolete and all Pilot(ISR) RPAS are entitled to wear the same Flying Badge as the other pilots. That changed on 1 Apr 19.
