Default wiltshire regiment 62nd of foot

I just acquired an item that I suspect most people have never seen I have spent some time on the regimental [the wardrobe]site ,and I unable to find it in the collection either as an item or photographs
1st pattern other ranks shoulder belt plate 1774-1785 In1775 the 62nd were an Irish garrison in 1776 they embarked for the new world for service in the American Revolution
As most collector will know early o'r items are more difficult to obtain than officers .likewise most early photographs are of officers
not cheap but as said very very scarce
David
Please note no photos as I suspect be 1 of a very very few would hate to see it copied

I have a large reference library ,but have never purchased a copy of Parkyn If any member has a copy of this book could you look to see the earliest shoulder belt plate he lists/shows to the 62nd regiment . After 1782 under the new army policy the numbered regiments became linked to a county The 62nd becoming the Wiltshire regiment After this date the county title started to appear on insignia The only other example near to the date in my 1st post that I can find is a line drawing in the Military insignia of Cornwall[32nd] which states that there are only 2 known examples of this sbp 1in the Dublin museum and 1 in U S A

I'd love to see a photograph - even of an officer - dating to 1775-1785 !!!

Would it be taken by Daguerre's great grandfather ?

(Meanwhile, I'll scan the relevant page in Parkyn - which I see that I bought on 12th March 1969.)
