Brass ones that have been nickel plated are s/ts plated at regtl expense for wear in berets/caps WW2.
I note that Churchill/Westlake's book also shows BB bugles which they state were Ox&Bucks LI Service Bns in WW1.

Alan, I believe DLI collars were g/m, not w/m, worn from 1881 (three lugs from c.1910) until replaced by paired smaller versions of the cap badge c.1950.
All the w/m versions worn by the Ox and Bucks on the beret and the bush hat I have seen have three lugs so were presumably made after the Volunteers were wound up.
Have you any more information on the w/m bugles worn on the FSC and by which regiments/battalions?
