Default Irish cap?

Hi

Looking to ID this capbadge and era for a mate. He is selling some used jewelry. Pic is in a small (30x40mm) brass cameo brooch. The owner is unwilling to open it to look for more info.

I see a harp but it does not look like Irish Regt of Canada. No crown and the scroll is wrong. Maybe British? Therefore outside my knowledge. I can see that it is not RIR or Irish Guards but have little other success in the ID.

Of course, any info you'd care to provide may be used by him in the sale of the item so feel free to keep mum. Any help appreciated though.

regards
Darrell

Darrell, what looks like the edge of a harp is the side if the central 'acorn' device.
