Default SAS and AAC wings, opinions wanted

These two arrive today as part of a large lot, can I have some opinions on date/authenticity? The AAC wings are 9,5 cm across.

The Army Flying Badge is an awful looking modern fake.

Interesting that both Crowns have been shown.

SAS wings are a close match in style for a 1950's pattern, I have a few pictures in my reference examples album.

Thanks guys! Yes the AAC does not have any age to it, I did not notice the two different crowns. Well spotted Marc. Was there at all a 9,5 cm bullion AAC wing, or is it a complete fantasy badge?

Jerry are you sure it is post-war? It appears to be identical to a wing I know from a wartime Belgian 5 SAS member.

Default 1950's SAS wing

I agree that a 1950's date is probable for this wing. A padded rather than flat profile is more usual though.
Best regards,
Andy

I posted it matches the style of a 1950's wing, I am not sure it is actually a period original, it doesn't look quite right.
