Default Production Costs

Anyone on the Forum an idea what the production cost of a badge would be once design approval is granted (ie from die creation through production run)?

Many Thanks.

Slightly a how long is a piece of string question as you’ve not said what the badge is you’re making - AA, GM/WM, bronze, sil & gilt finish etc.

However this thread may be of help and interest: https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...t=72047&page=3

In terms of type of badge and finish we're at the early stages regarding the type of metal used etc.

We still need to finalise the design and, as it's for a CCF, this won't be until after the Easter holidays to begin with.

You should be asking the people who are going to make the badges as they are the one who are going to be charging you the money for what your going to end up paying for each badge + tooling + set up fees etc.

It's one of the CEP CCFs. The school wants its own badge but I suspect costs may play a part. I'll let you know what the outcome is and whether it makes it to production or not.

Would dearly love to know what CEP and CCF is incase I may be unknowingly infected ! Seriously, as has been stated here before, the use of not well known acronyms is becoming all too prevalent. My only guess is that CCF might be referring to the Combined Cadet Force units in Britain. D.J.

Thank you Wardog, That was an excellent link you sent me to. Those of us in the Canadian Cadet system, can certainly agree that the Cadet Expansion Program would definitely be an asset in this country too! Not the place for discussion here but Thank you for enlightening me. David J.
