Don't fancy your device locked up with ransomware? No? Me neither. ok then please help me and report any spammers that appear on the forum.

They will in most cases:
Be new posters.
First post something a bit vague; 'Nice badge' or 'my grandfather gave me one of those'
In a subsequent post include a link to some totally unrelated dodgy website
Start posting stuff in the off topic area.


You can report a post via the 'contact us' link or the report post icon.

Stay vigilant.

The scammer has posted something that managed to get him through the initial moderation but then went back and edited the post.

Thanks for the heads up , if I'm using my laptop or computer I 'hover' the mouse over any link and the actual website appears at the bottom of the screen.

I am also very wary of clicking on 'embedded' photos within posts as these are often hosted 'off site' .
