Unknown enamel colour patch

Hello all

I recently picked up this on eBay. It was advertised as a WW11 Australian Pioneer Regiment colour patch.

Its the same size and configuration of many WW11 association badges but I haven't been able to find it in any reference material I have, would anybody out there have any ideas on what unit it represents?
