Default Acronym Meaning

Hi All, I have a staybrite (anodised aluminium) 47th (Middlesex Yeomanry) Signal Regiment cap badge but the motto 'Pro Aris Et Focis' (For Altars & Hearths (For God & Country)) does not cause me a problem but the letter 'MDGH' below is my problem as I cannot decode them. Help!!
