[Home Guard]

I am a fairly new member, having stumbled upon this forum when I became interested in British Home Front collecting. The first thing I noticed was how helpful everyone is and the overall friendliness I see. That in itself is reason enough to be here.

I also noticed that I am not the only duffus to buy a bogus badge, and that is comforting for me anyway. But I have also learned a great deal from reading about badges even if not in my area of collecting - a real plus for sure!

I have also made some new friends, and friends in my book friends are priceless because they are not something one can buy!

So, for me I am truly happy to be a member of this esteemed company!

You are very welcome. The forum is made up of some very generous and charitable members whose knowledge is invaluable. Some of the research is amongst the very best in the hobby and the best is certainly on a level on par with academic papers!.
