Default wings and star badge

Good evening,

I have found in a US lot this very small badge (1,5 cm large) with SAAD on the back. If you have any idea about it

My impression is that of a sweetheart piece. SAAD in the arrowhead is normally associated with the San Antonio Air Depot from WW2. Unusual.
