Default Army Physical Training Corps Cap Badge Question

Not my normal area of collecting, can anyone advise what the correct pattern would be for a WWII OR? I've seen both brass and white metal, and assume chrome plated ones are post war?
thanks
Paul

Sorry, No Privates in APTC - But Sgts and above.

Sgts to WOII wear the same badge whatever the design.

Mike, I think it was meant to be WW11 (World War 11) and not WO2

Apologies for any confusion, I meant World War 2, Other Ranks but have since been pointed out by a kind forum member that the APTC was an NCO and above only organisation anyway!
So what I really want to know is, would this badge be brass, white metal or chrome? :

Noting he was a Sergeant and not an OR anyway!

The changeover from brass to w/m is not recorded anywhere I can find.

I know we seem to be getting there but we still have not had WW11 (World War Eleven) WWII (World War Two) yes.

If still confused Roman Numerals are shown as Letters.

The Army Physical Training Staff wore the brass badge until 1940 when they became the Army Physical Training Corps and the white metal badge came into use around the same time.

I have seen chromed KC badges but I have no idea when they were worn. They could possibly have been worn by personnel attached to the RAC before the white metal badges came into use.

No RAC connection imo just a way to avoid having to polish them.
