Hello Jo and all,
Je vois que l'histoire des rois d'Angleterre est presque aussi compliquée que celle des présidents de notre république anciens ou à venir!!!

I see that the history of the kings of England is almost as complicated as that of the presidents of our republic old or to come in Fance !!!:

Nice afternoon.

A French disillusioned

Mon cher Jean-Paul vous oubliez de mentionner que les problèmes sont causés par les idiots du Vlams-Belang et du Vlams Blok......
Bonne chance

The images linked to are first rate, but it is saddening that some just feel they are justified in having cheap digs at a Family who have put Country first in almost everything they have done in over a century...

Sneering is so easy though isn't it?

Agreed, however, the link was deliberately posted in the original post, as it was clearly going incite comment, I do wonder why the thread was started.

Notwithstanding all that has been said here and elsewhere I feel a little sorry for him as a Grenadier. Despite his title, rank and actual age he looks like a victim of his upbringing and child in a man's world. This image is typical of that period of his life. Mike

Mike, When I first posted the original post ,it was to show the future king in the theatre of war with fellow officers...and just that. I never intended to have a political discussion about him.

...and I agree with you on this part of your answer....

There seems to be a pattern.
