Pretty sure the C/3 is The Royal Regiment of Canada (though I can't find an exact example) but I have NO clue about the C/16?

Hi Mike

C/16 is a American collar badge, probably Pennsylvania 16th Infantry C Company.

All the best

Graham

I had written a reply, similar but not so specific, to Graham's. My battery died whilst I was in the pub and I lost the text. I agree its an American badge.

Good day Mike,

Your C/3 collar is for the Toronto Regt. (in existence 1920-1937). The collar you show was approved for wear in 1934, and was worn until the Toronto Regt. amalgamated with the Royal Grenadiers in 1937 to become the Royal Regiment of Toronto Grenadiers. In 1939 the title was changed to the Royal Regiment of Canada. At this time, the flaming grenade collar of the Royal Grenadiers was placed behind the C/3 on the new RRC collar.

Thank you for taking the time for such an in depth explanation Ian. The later style you described I could find but mine alluded me, perhaps because it wasn't in use for very long?
