Hello
That's an old photo....attached is a more recent one plus some bits that should be with that lot.

Also of interest i have an old stamped SMR horse bit with two boss badges still attached...was a bit of a barn find as it was covered in crap. Both marked NZ Studholme Mounted Rifles, (part of the C Squadron of 3rd regiment New Zealand Mounted Rifles, in May 1900 )

I gave it a scrub and made a timber stand to sit it in.
Seemed a shame not to display it.

Volunteer stuff is harder to find that's for sure.

Default Te Awamutu Helmet plate

Thought I would share this super nice piece I spotted last year from the Te Awamutu Museum.
Great to things like this still survive and are able to be seen rather than hiding in a box.
