Default Bullion Para Wings on White Backing 24 X 45mm

Can anyone tell me what these "are" please?
I was given them in February 1986.
If genuine what would they be worn on?
The fabric doesn't appear to be of a suitable quality for Mess Dress.

Ta, the combination just doesn't seem right, bullion on a white ribbed fabric.

Hi Leigh

Yes these are Australian wings. I think they are now obsolete but I might be wrong.

Thanks - what would they worn on please? Detachable, worn on a form of tropical whites, a lightweight Mess Dress?
