White sap, its like what you use for whitening pumps etc.

Yep that what I bought, also been advised on how to clean it first without Killing it.

Well I can't imagine they'll be that exciting. I could do.
Could get the dogs to do a juggling act in the background to liven the pictures up. I could do a bit of fire breathing? splash of JD and a Swan & Vesta or the old bayonet swallowing trick?

Buff belt all buffed and polished in situ on restored tunic. Wish I'd taken before pics of that, it was in a right state all slit down the front and under the arm, have steam cleaned it, stitched it and its looking pretty good.

Oh I got really excited then before reaching the end of that sentence I thought I was going to be made(maid?) an honorary Guard. Well I'll take it as a compliment anyway though don't know why! See I could fit in the Household Division
