unknown collar badge help please
hi all
picked up a selection of collar badges today and there are a couple of unknown items. any help to ID them would be appreciated. these items will find there way into my trades album once identified regards bc Last edited by badgecollector; 06-09-17 at 12:45 PM. |

The one with a red backing is the collar badge of the Ashton under Lyne Borough Police. My home town.

I've seen the lions in a wreath badge attributed to Leicestershire Regt volunteers, but have an idea its a collar badge of one of the ports police or similar.
Not much help, just thinking out loud, it'd be interesting to know what it is as I should know...... |

Nice to know what the "three lions" badge is - I think I saw it decades ago in an issue of Crown Imperial, it was annoying that I couldn't rember if Leicesters Vols or a police / customs sort of insignia.
