The one with a red backing is the collar badge of the Ashton under Lyne Borough Police. My home town.

I've seen the lions in a wreath badge attributed to Leicestershire Regt volunteers, but have an idea its a collar badge of one of the ports police or similar.
Not much help, just thinking out loud, it'd be interesting to know what it is as I should know......

I can confirm that this badge is not in any way a police related item.

Top pair ( Churchill 1485/6 ) 2nd Middlesex RVC- Crest and motto of Viscount Ranelagh.

Below them on left ( Churchill 543 ) Leicestershire Regt, 1st V.B.

Nice to know what the "three lions" badge is - I think I saw it decades ago in an issue of Crown Imperial, it was annoying that I couldn't rember if Leicesters Vols or a police / customs sort of insignia.
