Default A mystery to me

Greetings all.
this just walked in my door. Young lad got it from his g-grandfather. It was in a small group of CEF pieces, but I am guessing British. I've had a couple goes through K&K and Churchill and Westlake with no luck. It might be the eyes, not sure. Anyway, have at it with many thanks. phil

I've got a couple. Tentatively ID'd as an arm badge for a military school (Duke of Yorks?).
I'll try to track it down tomorrow,

Ian H

RQMS worn above 4 chevrons on the lower arm. Pre-1915 I think.

This is really interesting. I've tried to google an image with no success. Any suggestions as to a reference volume to look at? Thanks.

found a line drawing in a Soldier of Fortune magazine. Suggests only WW1.
